1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VEDON ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using VEDON, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

3. User Responsibilities

When using the Service, you agree to:

Only upload photos of yourself: You must not upload photos of other people without their explicit written consent.
Not create harmful content: You must not use the Service to create content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or illegal.
Not misrepresent identity: You must not use generated images to impersonate others or commit fraud.
Commercial rights included: All paid users receive full commercial rights to their generated images. You may use them for professional profiles, marketing materials, social media, and other commercial purposes.
Comply with laws: You must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

4. Prohibited Uses

You are strictly prohibited from:

Uploading photos of other people without their consent
Creating deepfakes or synthetic media of non-consenting individuals
Generating sexually explicit or pornographic content
Creating content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
Using the Service for political manipulation or disinformation
Attempting to reverse engineer or exploit our AI systems

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading photos, you grant VEDON a limited, non-exclusive license to process them for the purpose of generating AI images as requested by you.

5.2 Generated Content

Subject to these Terms, you own the AI-generated images created from your photos and may use them for any lawful personal or commercial purpose. VEDON retains ownership of the underlying AI technology, models, and algorithms. We do not use your uploaded photos or generated images to train our AI models.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. VEDON DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VEDON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES. IN NO EVENT SHALL VEDON'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO VEDON IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VEDON and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Any content you upload or generate using the Service

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

11. Payments & Refund Policy

VEDON uses a credit-based payment system. Credits are purchased as one-time transactions and do not expire.

Refund Policy for Individual Users

Users requesting a refund within 14 days of purchase are eligible for a full refund if no credits have been used to generate images.
If the service fails to meet your expectations due to technical issues or quality discrepancies in the AI-generated photos, you are encouraged to contact our support team within the same 14-day period. After reviewing your service usage and the issues encountered, VEDON reserves the right to offer a partial or full refund at its discretion.
Refund requests for reasons other than quality or technical issues, such as a change of mind, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
All refunds are issued to the original payment method via our payment processor.

Abuse Prevention: To maintain fair access for all users, VEDON reserves the right to limit or deny refund requests from users who demonstrate a pattern of repeated purchases and refund requests, regardless of the account, payment method, or device used.

12. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with VEDON, you agree to first contact us at legal@vedon.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved within that period, you and VEDON agree to resolve it through binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and not in court.

YOU AND VEDON BOTH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. This arbitration agreement survives termination of your account or these Terms.

Small claims court actions and requests for injunctive relief related to intellectual property are exempt from this arbitration requirement.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VEDON is principally based, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in such jurisdiction, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
